Eli's Fall Photo Shoot
Thank you Emily! We love these pictures! As you can see from the first photo, Eli is a little unsure about the whole thing. I guess we were a little to close to nap time. As a result I was in a lot of the pictures to try and keep him happy. We have such an adorable little man!

I was right!
I knew I was going to find him in the dryer one of these days! I hope this makes you laugh! Yes, he is safe. No, he can not close the door from the inside. And I will check the dryer first if I can not find him.

You can have your cake and eat it too. Really...eat it! Touch it?
Can I keep his hands out of his green beans? No. I wanted him to tear into his cake but he wouldn't even touch the thing! We set him on the floor with the cake and he crawled away. We tried Dad's lap and he whined. I gave him a cupcake later and he barely touched it. I even stuck his favorite fork in the middle of a cupcake a couple of days later and still, no dice! I'm grateful, but I was a little disappointed. I guess I should have made the thing out of crackers and cheerios, that is what he survives on!
He is so, so cute!

Happy Birthday Baby!
Gosh! It has taken me forever to get Eli's birthday pictures up! Here he is opening some of his presents. It was perfect timing, he got a package from Jed's family and a card from a friend right before his birthday party. It was a really great day. It was so fun having Jed home and feeling so blessed to have such great friends while we are so far away from family. It is unbelievable how fast time goes! We have a one year old!
It is funny how timid Eli can be with wrapping paper but pretty much everything else in his path is destroyed instantly.

Naked baby with a killer smile!
Eli's new trick has been crawling away from me as fast a possible after his bath. I have to wrestle the kid to get his diaper on! There he is booking it twards the door and I just have to grab the camera. I'm willing to take the risk of him peeing on the floor just so I can get some funny/embarasing photos and he just starts "smiling" for the camera. I have never seen him do that before! I was laughing so hard! It's moments like this that I just have to squeeze him so hard!

Helping Hands
I am such a lucky mom! Eli wants to help me with everything. As you can see, dishes and laundry are among his favorite chores. I swear one of these days I will just find him inside the dryer with his cute little face poking out.

I'm next!
I can not believe I have an 11 month old child!
When we got the invitation for Eli's friends first birthday party I realised that Eli will be turning one in less than a month! Crazy! Anyway, here are some pictures of Eli hanging out with his friends. Molly was so cute, it was like she knew the party was for her and she was walking around greeting everyone. Eli has just started figuring out how to play with other kids and he and Molly were chasing each other around and climbing over each other. They had fun!

Little Swimmer
Is he not just so cute? At a little pool party with our friends Eli kept himself busy by climbing in and out of the pool as many times as possible. He was face planting in the grass every time! It was so funny to watch. The next week we went to Pine Lake Park, it took a while for Eli to get comfortable in the water, but once he did there was no stopping this little guy! I would put my hand under his chest to keep his head out of the water and he would kick and wave his arms like crazy. He was splashing himself in the face and gasping for air, but each time I tried to take him out of the water, he would scream and want to do it some more!

Adventures with Chanda and Rachel
Thank you so much for coming! We had such a blast with you girls! Here are a few pictures of our good times. We did Pikes place Market, wake boarding, a concert in the park, Whidbey Island, Ballard Locks, Pine Lake Park, Trophy Cupcakes (YUM!), and last but not least a picknic on the lawn of the Tacoma poliece department! Yes, the last one needs some explaning. We were on our way to Alki beach and I missed the exit. We did not have enough time before the plane left to go back but we still had our lunch we needed to eat, so that is where we ended up eating before Chanda and Rachel took off to go home!

Jingle Frog
A sweet old lady in the stake gave Eli a Christmas frog at the 4th of July pancake breakfast. He LOVES it! It is anoying, but I know it is exactly the kind of toy Jessie (an adopted Grandma of ours who passed away) would have given him, so I will never get rid of it. He has played with it so much already that it hardly jumps any more, it just kind of bounces. We'll see if it makes it to Christmas!

Hey Everyone!
Trying to get a cute little family snapshot. I love Eli's face.
Eli crawling around in his studly little sweat suit!
Welcome! I guess it's about time we did this since we've been gone for two years now! I can't believe it's been that long! We love it up here in Seattle. I can't promise daily updates as "The JAMBER Daily" implies. I can promise lots of pictures.
