Leavenworth Trip

Willkommen! Haven a goodtimmen! Here we are with the Hansen girls (Jed's cousins) Allie, Sydney and Chelsea.
We are a happy fam.. uh.. Eli was a little ticked and cold and hated it at the beginning. By the end of the day he was having a blast.

See, he's getting happier!

Here is the little village of Leavenworth. Each night they have a lighting ceremony where they sing "Silent Night" and offer a prayer. Then the lights start to come on all over the trees and store fronts. It is so fun and festive. It was a perfect pre-Christmas activity to get us in the Christmas spirit. Eli was so cute. The prayer was said over the speakers by someone down the street. The prayer was started much differently than we start prayers here at home, but Eli immediately folded his little arms. It was so amazing to see such a little boy recognize the prayer and give it the reverence it deserved.
